Horseback rider versus car sends Ector man to hospital

ECTOR, Tex. (KXII) -- A Fannin County man was flown to the hospital after he was riding on a horse that collided with a car.
It happened around seven Sunday night.

Ector Police said a man riding on horseback on highway 56 near the 1285 intersection collided with a car.

Police said they're still looking into how the crash happened but told News 12 the man was flown to a hospital for his injuries. His name and condition are not being released.

Ector police said the horse died.
