GAINESVILLE, Tex. (KXII) -- Jason Brinkley announced Tuesday that he planned to seek re-election for a second term as Cooke County Judge.

Brinkley said they have worked to keep County taxes low by maintaining our rate at, or below, the effective rate, and saved taxpayers more than $100,000 a year on utilities.

Brinkley said long term goals for the county include completing a records digitalization project for the county's vital records, and completing a new EMS substation in Valley View, as well as revising and improving county subdivision regulations and Ray Roberts zoning regulations.
