KINGSTON. Okla. (KXII) -- Kingston Schools was put on lock down on Friday morning after authorities received calls about a suicidal teen nearby.
Marshall County Sheriff Danny Cryer says they got a call from a mother who told them her son was threatening suicide.
They made contact with the teen nearby the school -- and as a precaution -- the school was put on lock down.
Cryer says the teen told them he was not threatening suicide, and deputies did not find any weapons to indicate the teen was a danger to himself or others.
The school resumed after 20 minutes, and the teen was taken for a mental health evaluation.
