Lake Murray collision caused by drinking, troopers say

LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) Troopers say it happened around 10:45.

They tell us they believe 55-year-old Rodrick Peery of Marietta was drinking while driving as 18-foot boat that crashed into another vessel, driven 43-year-old Ryan Peters.

Troopers say out of four passengers on Peery's boat, two were ejected are are okay, while Peery was flown to a Denton hospital and treated and released.

19-year-old Jacklyn Slawson of Ringling was taken to an Ardmore hospital with a leg injury and 19-year-old Kortney Lane was transported to OU Medical Center in OKC in serious condition with a head injury.

No one on Peters' boat was injured.
