Lamar County District Attorney's Office reviewing three cases of children testing positive for drugs

PARIS, Tex. (KXII) - Police say three Paris children have tested positive for different controlled substances in the past week.

The first case was reported late last week where a child under the age of fifteen tested positive for meth.

The second child was reported to have tested positive on Monday and the third just two days ago.

We're told by police that two of the children have tested positive for some combination of both cocaine and marijuana.

All the cases have been completed by police and have been turned over to the District Attorney's Office for review.

No arrests have been made and so far we haven't been able to reach any official for comment on the circumstances leading to the positive tests.
