PARIS, Tex. (KXII) -- County Judge Chuck Superville has officially filed for re-election for Lamar County Judge, joining two other candidates.
Superville, a native of Houston moved to Lamar County in the late eighties where he began working at the Lamar County District Attorney's Office.
After six years there, he was elected county judge where he's held the position for the past 22 years.
Superville is the only Democrat who's filed to run for county judge, joining Republican candidates Ray Null and Brandon Bell.
The deadline to file is Dec. 11.
The primary elections are in March 2018.
