Leonard man's drug conviction leads to 15 year prison sentence

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- Christifer Howard was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison for manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine.

Grayson County prosecutors said Howard was driving a U-Haul when he was stopped in Denison for a traffic violation.

Officers said they saw a drug pipe, and during a search of the van, they found pink methamphetamine.

Authorities said Howard included a horse vitamin when manufacturing the drug, which turned the methamphetamine pink.

Records show that Howard still has an outstanding warrant in Bryan County for selling methamphetamine at Choctaw Casino.
