LONE GROVE, Okla. (KXII) - A family in Lone Grove lost their detached storage building to a fire Sunday afternoon.

Lone Grove Fire Chief Staci Phelps says firefighters were called to the corner of Marsden and Meridian Road around 2 p.m. for the fire.

Phelps says when they arrived on scene, the building was engulfed in flames and had caught part of the grass on fire.

Crews were able to put out the fire in under an hour.

The house next door suffered minor damages but the building used to store belongings like weights and lawn mowers was a total loss.

Phelps says no one was injured and the cause is still under investigation.
