MADILL, Okla. (KXII) - Fire Chief Dennis Self says they got the call at around 5:30 p.m.
The trailer was carrying scraps of metal and four cars that were already crushed down to fit in the trailer.
Chief Self says they believe speed was the cause of accident.
"We thought maybe possibly we had some cars that had been rolled over but when we furthered investigated the vehicles, the crushed cars had come from the truck," Chief Self said.
The driver was not injured.
Chief Self says he expects the clean up to take about three to four hours.
