Man assaults ex-wife, found with large amount of drugs

MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. (KXII)-- A Texas man was arrested in Marshall County Wednesday, after assaulting and stealing from his ex-wife, and being found with a large amount of drugs.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says Wednesday, 41-year-old Brett Leshowitz broke into his ex-wife's home, attempted to strangle her, and stole a gun, before possibly trying to head back to Texas.

A description of his motorcycle he was riding was given, and he was stopped on Highway 377 after deputies spotted him heading south.

They searched the motorcycle and not only found the gun, but 200 grams of marijuana, five grams of meth and numerous items commonly used in the sale of drugs.

He's being held at a $100,000 bond, with multiple charges ranging from burglary, to possession with the intent to distribute.
