DORCHESTER, Tex. (KXII) -- A man is in critical condition Wednesday night after crashing his truck.
Only one person was inside the truck when it happened and first responders say they believe he may have been speeding when he lost control and hit power lines and was ejected.
A witness says she saw his boots stuck in the truck's windshield.
He was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
One woman who was inside a nearby church says the power went out so she decided to take a look outside the building, that's when she saw the crash.
"We heard a loud boom and there was flashing lights and stuff. There were all kinds of power lines down and we were afraid to get shocked," said Ginger Ham. Ham called 911 to report the crash.
The man's name has not been released yet.
