Oklahoma school bond election results

By  |

A $44,000,000 school bond for Ardmore schools passed on Tuesday.

It'll pay for a new performing arts center and other additions to the elementary schools. Administrators said that the bond won't raise taxes.

Over in Bryan County, a $465,000 bond for Colbert Schools passed on Tuesday. We're told it will pay for new technology around buildings and there will be no tax increases for that bond either.

Staying in Bryan County, Rock Creek School's $1,500,000 bond failed on Tuesday with 53 percent voting against the proposition.

The bond would have paid for security as well as outdated buildings. It would have added $13 to every $100 paid in property taxes.
