Oklahoma sheriff warns of new scam

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- Law enforcement is warning about a new scam going around.

Pushmataha County Sheriff B.J. Hedgecock said people are getting calls from 1-876-891-8552 and the caller says they have a certified package from UPS for you and that they need to know when you will be home so they can deliver it.

UPS says they will not call you and ask that information.

Authorities remind you not to give personal information over the phone.
