DAVIS, Okla. (KXII) -- A train hits a minivan in Davis Friday killing a Fitztown woman.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Davis police say the Heartland Flyer Amtrak train hit an Oklahoma blood institute minivan that was on the tracks at Benton and First Street.
Davis police say the woman was driving back from a blood drive and was driving around the railroad crossings when she was hit by a train.
The train ended up traveling another mile down the track before it came to a full stop.
No word on whether passengers were on board the train.
Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad, Police, Murray County Sheriff's office and OHP will investigate what happened.
At this time, the woman's name is not being released.
