One year ago today: Deadly tornadoes struck Southeastern Oklahoma

May 9 marks the one year anniversary since eight tornadoes hit Southeastern Oklahoma, killing one man in Garvin County and another in Johnston County.

A tornado also touched down in Davis.

In Atoka, the radio station was destroyed.

There were reports that one of the tornadoes that traveled through Murray and Garvin Counties was one mile wide.
