Over 100 animals seized from an alleged puppy mill in Hunt County

HUNT COUNTY, Tex. (KXII) - Authorities in Hunt County seized over 100 allegedly cruelly treated animals from an alleged puppy mill Tuesday.

A total of 117 animals, including 93 adult dogs, 22 puppies and two cats were taken from a property in Greenville.

The SPCA says the animals were found living in filthy cages, crates and kennels with up to three dogs in each.

Those animals were taken to a rescue center for medical treatment where they'll be cared for until a custody hearing takes place.
