PARIS, Texas. (KXII) -- A patient transport turned into five people going to the hospital after an ambulance crash in Paris last night.
Police say the Paris EMS ambulance was driving north on Main toward Loop 286 with its lights and sirens on when it collided with a pickup trying to turn south onto Main.
The wreck happened around 5:30 p.m.
The patient wasn't hurt in the crash, but both paramedics, the driver and passenger of the pickup had to be treated at the hospital.
We're told one paramedic suffered a fractured arm. No other serious injuries are known at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
