SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) -- TxDOT presented two options for a new pedestrian solution across 75, near Piner Middle School., to the Sherman Board of Trustees on Monday.
A spokesperson for TxDOT says the new way to cross is in response to the larger project planned for 75 next year, when they plan to raise sections of the freeway.
TxDOT says they are considering having the walkway underneath the roadway or rerouting walkers to other nearby intersections.
A public meeting about the 75 project is scheduled for September.
