Pontotoc County man sentenced to 30 years in prison after murder conviction

ADA, Okla. (KXII) -- A Pontotoc County man will spend the next 30 years in prison for murder.

Ben McIntosh, 20, and his mother, Sheila Arles, were charged in 2016 for the shooting death of Jose Prado.

Court documents state the murder happened in September 2015, and a threatening rap video led authorities to Arles home -- where they found evidence linking her and her son to the murder.

Arles was sentenced to 30 years in prison for her role in the crime.

McInstosh's charges were reduced to second degree murder, and conspiracy.
