Severe weather plows through Texoma

A tornado reportedly touched down southwest of Ada, Okla., as spring storms swept through Texoma on Sunday.

Pontotoc County Emergency Management Director Chad Letellier confirmed a barn has been destroyed in West of 3610 on County Road 1570.

There's also a tree that's been reported to have fallen on a home in the area as well.

There are also reports of damage to homes and carports in the area the Alohso Area from hail.

Officials in Happyland, Okla., confirmed damage to houses and vehicles a quarter mile north of Highway 1 on County Road 3632 from baseball size hail.

In Healdton, Okla. 95 OG&E customers were reportedly without power.

On the Texas side of the Red River, more than 700 Grayson-Collin Electric Co-op customers were without power, most of them are in the Northeast Grayson County, around U.S. 377 north of Whitesboro.

Near Willis, Texas, heavy rains, hail, and lowering clouds were reported by the Willis Bridge on U.S. Highway 377.
