Man dies in McCurtain Co. crash

MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A man is dead after he lost control of his pickup while driving in McCurtain County early Monday morning.

OHP says 70-year-old Robert Leerskov of Sulphur Springs was eastbound on state highway 37, a half mile west of Idabel, just after midnight.

Troopers say he wasn't paying attention and lost control of his GMC pickup.

It veered off the road to the right and rolled once before stopping.

Leerskov was taken to McCurtain memorial hospital with head, leg and internal trunk injuries, where he died Monday afternoon.
