ROCKWALL, Tex. (KXII) -- Texas A&M Commerce is mourning the death of a professor in what Rockwall police believe was a murder-suicide Monday morning.

Rockwall police confirm Dr. Debbie Kim was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound in her Rockwall home, along with her husband, after neighbors called 911 early Monday morning to report their house was on fire.

Dr. Kim was an assistant professor in the department of engineering and technology at Texas A&M Commerce.

Their five year old daughter was found unharmed in a vehicle parked in the driveway.
