MUSKOGEE, Okla. (KXII) -- A man who robbed two banks in a week last year was sentenced Thursday in federal court.
Graham Helms, 30, of Durant was sentenced to nearly three-and-a-half-years in prison for the crimes.
In late July, Helms robbed an Ardmore bank, passing a note to the teller that said he had a gun.
Then just days later he did the same thing at a bank in Coalgate, but was arrested shortly after in Johnston County.
Helms was also given three years of probation...and ordered to pay $6,000 in restitution.
