Two arrested after fight over meth

JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- A man and woman were arrested in Johnston County on Sunday, one accused of deadly assault, the other of child neglect.

The Johnston County Sheriff's Office said Ardmore resident Darnell Okra and Mannsville resident Janis Ramirez-Gonzalez were arrested after they received a disturbance call in Mannsville.

Deputies said a woman called 911 saying Okra pulled a gun on her during a fight over methamphetamine. She then fled to Carter County.

The Carter County Sheriff's Office and Johnston County Sheriff's Office, along with Dickson Police, found the gun and meth at the home the fight took place at.

Children were also found inside.

Okra was arrested on several charges including assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Ramirez-Gonzalez was also arrested on a handful of charges including child neglect and possession of meth.

DHS placed the kids with friends and family.
