Two people including a three-year-old air lifted after accident south of Millerton

MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- Two people including a three-year-old were injured in a two car accident in McCurtain County Thursday night.

The accident happened just before 7 on State Highway 37 about seven miles south of Millerton.

According to OHP, 46-year-old Kerry Bailey of Idabel and her two passengers, ages 8 and 3, were driving behind a truck when the truck slowed to make a left turn.

Bailey's car then slammed into the back of truck.

Bailey was air lifted to a Dallas hospital with head injuries.

Her 3-year-old passenger was air lifted to Children's hospital in Dallas with leg and hand injuries.

Troopers say distracted driving caused the accident.
