Woman pleads guilty to embezzling from bank customers

PARIS, Tex. (KXII) -- Karen Sulsar pleaded guilty on Tuesday to charges stemming from her time as a lobby teller at the Liberty National Bank branch on Lamar.

Court documents say Sulsar stole nearly seventy grand from customers' accounts from January of 2015 until October of the following year.

Judge Wes Tidwell ordered Sulsar to serve 5 years in state prison and pay $69,500 in restitution.
