Former Pottsboro Cardinals star Justin Lawler will attempt to catch the eyes of NFL scouts in the annual East-West Shrine Game on Saturday.
Lawler is one of the best football players to come out of the Texoma area over the years. Now, he will try to show NFL scouts just how good he can be.
The game will be played on Saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida. The SMU star will play on the West squad, wearing his familiar number 99.
Lawler is coming off a great year. He registered 74 tackles and 9.5 sacks. He hauled in 12.5 tackles for loss and forced 2 fumbles.
CBS Sports ranks Lawler as the 6th best defensive end in the upcoming NFL draft.
