Former Whitewright star drawing praise from NFL head coach

Former Whitewright Tigers star Tyrone Swoopes has caught the eye of his head coach, as he attempts to change positions and catch on in the NFL.

"We've been pretty blown away," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said of Swoopes making the adjustment from quarterback to tight end. Carroll was particularly speaking about the development of Swoopes as a blocker.

Swoopes has also caught the eye of Seahawks starting quarterback Russell Wilson with his pass catching ability.

"Unbelievable," Wilson said of a Swoopes diving catch in practice. "That's true talent."
