IRVING, Texas (AP) - Free agent safety Keith Davis returned to the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.

The Cowboys signed Davis after the Miami Dolphins cut him. Davis had signed as a free agent with the Dolphins after last season.

This will be his sixth season in the NFL, all with the Cowboys. In that time, he's credited with 111 tackles on defense in 68 games, 22 of them starts. He's also credited with 77 tackles on special teams.

Dallas originally signed Davis as an undrafted free agent in April 2002.
