JIMTOWN, OK - Two men are jailed after a weekend shooting in Love County, Oklahoma, that left another man seriously injured.
63-year-old Jimmy Householder was arrested for shooting with intent to kill. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says he got into an argument with his neighbor, 65-year old Monte Slawson, on Sunday afternoon while Slawson was working outside his home in Jimtown. They say Householder shot Slawson in the hand and mouth.
An OSBI spokesperson says the victim's son, 44-year-old Victor Slawson, also shot at Householder's home. He was also arrested for assault with a deadly weapon..
Slawson was flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Police say he is expected to recover.
