7 arrested in Hugo drug distribution sting

HUGO, OK - Federal, state, and local law enforcement work together to bring down a drug distribution ring in Hugo.

Prosecutors say these seven people were arrested Tuesday morning for dealing crack cocaine, meth, and marijuana out of what law enforcement calls "The Compound."

The 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force, the DEA, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, the Choctaw County Sheriff's Department, Hugo Police and the U.S. Marshal's Service all helped in the investigation, which began last year.

All are facing drug charges in Oklahoma District Court.

Arrested were:

• Davius Freeman for distribution of controlled dangerous substance

• Rashonda Scales for possession of controlled dangerous substance

• Chadley Demond Wortham for possession of controlled dangerous substance, maintaining place for keepingg/selling controlled substance, and distribution of controlled dangerous substance including possession with intent to distribute

• Karen Sue Freeman for distribution of controlled dangerous substance including possession with intent to distribute, maintaining place for keeping/selling controlled substance

• Lewis Freeman for distribution of controlled dangerous substance

• Ladale Freeman for distribution of controlled dangerous substance.

• Jerry Freeman for distribution of controlled dangerous substance
