DURANT, OK - One of the five people charged in connection with the murder of former Denison football standout D.J. Jones is headed to prison. According to online court records, 30-year-old Frank Davis of Denison was sentenced to 40 years in prison with 20 years suspended.

Davis pleaded guilty last week to accessory after the fact. Prosecutors say he helped Dustin Metcalf evade police after Jones was murdered last summer. Records show Davis admitted he let Metcalf stay in a hotel room and gave him a cell phone and calling card when he knew Metcalf was wanted for Jones' murder.

Davis also pleaded guilty to possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Metcalf and three others are now awaiting trial.
