OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma voters will decide six state issues, including one that would wipe out all affirmative action programs in state government.

Under the measure, Oklahoma could not grant preferential treatment based on race, gender, ethnicity or national origin. Programs in place because of court orders or ones needed to get federal funding would continue.

Supporters say the programs aren't needed, but opponents say racism and sexism continue.

Other proposals on Tuesday's ballot include ones that would limit the governor's role in the parole process and restructure the Department of Human Services.

Other measures would limit property tax increases to 3 percent and exempt intangible personal property from the property tax.

Another would allow the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to issue bonds.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
