An arrest leaves authorities believing Hugo murder suspect still in town

HUGO, OK -- An arrest Wednesday in Hugo has led authorities to believe wanted murder suspect Dawaylon Rainey may still be in town.

Hugo police received a disturbance call at the Circle G apartment complex Wednesday afternoon. Inside authorities found several small bags that tested positive for crack cocaine and found an infant that police say Rainey is the father of.

Police arrested 20-year-old Alexia Tims on drug possession charges, and the baby is now with relatives. Family members tell us Rainey is not the father of the baby and that Tims and Rainey are cousins.

Rainey is wanted for the August 4th shooting deaths of Qualin Hayden and Floyd Clegg at another Hugo apartment complex.

The OSBI is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to Rainey's arrest and conviction.
