Another suspicious fire breaks out in Grayson County

SHERMAN, TX-A five acre fire breaks out in Sherman, threatening several homes.
It happened around 6:00 p.m. along Rex Cruse Road near Highway 82. Sherman, Pottsboro, Southmayd and N.T.R.A. Fire departments responded, quickly extinguishing the flames before it jumped across the road.
Sherman fire chief Jeff Jones said live power lines were burnt by the flames which presents a hazard to those passing by. He also thinks this fire is suspicious.

"Be watchful in your area, a lot of blowing smoke right now. We're working several fires in the county, we encourage everyone to be safe," he said.

No structures were damaged and there were no reported injuries.
