The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce held its fifth Legislative Luncheon this afternoon.
This luncheon featured Carter County officials and included the county treasurer, the first deputy assessor and the two candidates running for the open commissioner seat.
Democrat Joe McReynolds and Republican Larry Darter each had five minutes to talk about their view on county issues before the election.
And the treasurer gave an update on where the new sales taxes are going.
"It'll be getting them better roads and bridges, it'll be getting them better technologies at the schools," said treasurer Marsha Collins. "It's going to really be efficient and handy."
The next and final legislative luncheon will be May 3rd at the Ardmore Convention Center.
