ARDMORE, OK -- Ardmore police are asking for help to find a man suspected of making and passing counterfeit cash.

Ardmore Police Sergeant Ryan Hunnicutt says in the last two weeks several store clerks have received counterfeit twenty dollar bills.

They are describing the suspect as a white male, 5'10" to 6 foot tall, slender build, in his mid to early twenties.

Hunnicutt says they believe he is making the bills locally.

Hunnicutt said, "In several of the cases, the clerks actually remember the transactions and have been able to describe the suspect to us. There are a couple that they're not sure when the bill came in and we're looking at those as well."

Hunnicutt says they are offering a $200 dollar reward for anyone that can offer information that leads to an arrest in the case you can call crime stoppers at 580-224-STOP.
