Ardmore shooting suspect turns himself in

The Ardmore man accused of shooting another man Saturday has turned himself in.

28-year-old Eric Jackson came to the Ardmore Police Department this morning.

He is charged with use of a motor vehicle to facilitate the discharge of a firearm.

Deputy Chief Eric Hamblin said the victim is 33-year-old Quentin Sheppard, who is still at OU medical center.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive near E street.

Jackson's bond was set at $75,000, and he has bailed out.

He is due in court July 23rd..
