ARDMORE, OK--Retired professor Dr. Melvin Anderson turned 100 Friday.

The dining room of The Lodge was loaded with family and friends who celebrated with him, and everyone who attended got a special performance by Dr. Anderson himself who sang one of his favorite songs.

Dr. Anderson says he always feels good, and there's one thing to remember that's important in life.

"Stay happy all the time," Dr. Anderson said.

Dr. Anderson's family says it's incredible what he can still do. They say he walks without a walker, and still even drives his own car.
