ARDMORE, OK -- The recent rainfall and cooler temperatures led Ardmore City Officials to lift all water rationing bans Thursday.
Ardmore City Manager J.D. Sphon says he felt comfortable removing the ban as lake levels have risen and water usage has dropped to about 6-million gallons per day. Sphon says the restrictions were placed back in June due to the summer's drought and an alarming 14-million gallons of water being used daily. City officials ask for people to still be cautious with their water usage, and that they will reevaluate conditions again in the Spring.
