ATOKA, OK--Nearly nine months after competing to break a world record, Atoka officials finally got word, they did it.
In January, hundreds of fire trucks paraded down the streets of town.
The previous Guiness World record for longest fire truck parade was documented in Switzerland with 159 trucks.
The record keeping organization notified Atoka employees that they now hold the record for this years parade, with more than 300 units participating.
