TULSA, OK - A lake-wide advisory at Lake Texoma due to blue-green algae continues. The Army Corps of Engineers says samples taken from the lake last week still exceed the advisory level.
Last month the Corps of Engineers downgraded a water contact ban issued last August to an advisory. That means Lake Texoma is open for boating and fishing, but to use caution while boating and to clean fish well before eating them. Water contact is still discouraged, they say.
The next round of samples will be taken in February.
