LAMAR COUNTY, TX - A day after a body was found in rural southwest Lamar County, Sheriff Scott Cass says they have now identified the body.
A medical examiner confirmed that the body found under a bridge on Farm Road 2122 is that of 27-year old Tramaine Jarrod Kellum, who was reported missing by Paris Police Monday.
Around 10 a.m. Thursday morning the sheriffs office received a call from Texas Department of Transportation stating that workers were preparing to resurface Farm Road 2122, when they came across Kellum's body.
The cause of death is pending at this time awaiting the Medical Examiners preliminary report.
Police say 27-year old Tramaine Kellum was reported missing by his wife. She said she last heard from him by phone on Saturday.
Investigators are still looking for Kellum's vehicle, a silver 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis with 24 inch wheels, bearing the Texas license plate BX8-P511.
