BRYAN COUNTY, OK - After days of being closed, East and West Burns Run public beaches are now reopened.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tested the toxicity levels with samples of blue green algae taken from the public beach area. The test came back with low levels of toxicity. The Corps believes it shows no threat to human or animal health.
The public beaches are back open, and they invite everyone to enjoy the lake.
