Bryan County commissioners are trying to solve an on-going problem - disappearing road signs.
Chairman Jay Perry said they discussed the issue at this week's meeting.
He said the most likely suspects are kids doing it as a prank.
He sent out emails and is working with schools to educate about the danger.
He said signs serve as warnings to drivers and direct emergency vehicles where to go.
"Plus the cost involved of replacing those signs constantly," he said. "It's a big expense and it's actually very frustrating to me to have to order the same signs over and over again for certain areas."
Perry said he's had to replace a few individual signs multiple times.
