CERT training for 2012 starting up
SHERMAN, TX-If you're looking for a way to get involved with the community, the Grayson County Office of Emergency Management is looking for you.
They’re offering the Community Emergency Response Team, or CERT training on Tuesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Grayson County Courthouse.
CERT members respond to disasters and serve as trusted resources for emergency responders. Several CERT members helped assist victims of the December 2008 tornadoes in Denison and Grayson County Emergency Manager Sara Somers said they provide a vital service to the community.
