DENISON, TX -- Dozens of new jobs are coming to Denison, but the city says it's not just jobseekers who'll benefit.

CIGNA plans to hire about 100 people.

Grayson County officials, Denison Development Alliance and Workforce Solutions Texoma all joined CIGNA to celebrate.

Thursday's announcement focused on the investment Grayson County has made in CIGNA and how it's helping growth in Denison and Grayson County.

"Well just job creation in itself because again those people are living in our communities, spending money in our communities, making our communities better through our volunteer activities and anytime we can keep those jobs local, that's what we want to do," said City of Denison Mayor Jared Johnson.

Hiring will take place over the next 3 to 4 months.
