PARIS, TEXAS-- A candlelight vigil to honor the life of Trayvon Martin is scheduled Saturday in Paris.
The vigil will be held at Leon Williams Park at 4 P.M.
Anyone attending is encouraged to bring a candle and wear a hoodie.
They are also welcome to share a thought, song, prayer or even a poem.
Civil Rights Activist, Brenda Cherry, says everyone needs to come together and talk about the issues because this could happen to someone of any race.
Cherry thinks the entire community of Paris could benefit from this vigil.
