SHERMAN, TX - A woman had to be taken to the hospital after driving her car off a 20-foot cliff into a creek in Sherman. It happened around 12:30 p.m. just south of the U.S. Highway 75 and Houston Street intersection.
Police say a woman driving a tan convertible south on U.S. 75 lost control of her car and rear-ended a man driving a maroon Volvo. She then took the Houston St. exit, drove across the service road, over the curb, and launched her car into the creek on the west side of the highway.
She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police suspect a medical condition caused the accident. The man driving the maroon car was not injured.
