CARTER COUNTY, OK - An effort is underway in Carter County to help increase awareness of Autism and help identify it.
The Oklahoma Early Access Autism Project is conducting free screenings February 1st.
Parents with children age 13 months to seven years can book an appointment at the Carter County Health Department.
The screening results aren't conclusive but the health department will give parents resource information if their child shows signs of needing help.
